James (Jim) Grant Pinder Senior Award of Excellent
The Pinder Family extends our gratitude and sincere thank you to the K-W & District Automotive Transportation Service Superintendents Association for the recognition of James Grant Pinder senior as an example of excellent in the transportation industry. Jim was always a strong advocate for the truck and coach technician and the need for a strong apprenticeship program to raise the professionalism of the trade Jim had dedicated his working life to, automotive power.
J. Pinder Fleet Service was a critical learning center for many of the key technician, service managers and fleet maintenance managers in Southwestern Ontario. It was Jim's entrepreneurial spirit and strong Family support that made the steady growth and success of J. Pinder Fleet Service in Kitchener, Owen Sound and London possible. All during the many years of success the company stayed true to Jim's vision, quality, personal growth and service excellence.
Our wish is that the recipient of the James (Jim) Grant Pinder senior award continues to show pride, commitment and strong leadership qualities with in the Truck & Coach profession utilizing their talents and opportunities to improve the perception and professionalism of the trade.

The Automotive Transportation Service Superintendents Association (A.T.S.S.A.) is a group of fleet maintenance professionals actively running light, medium, and heavy fleets in the province of Ontario and operating across Canada and the U.S.
The membership meetings of the Kitchener-Waterloo A.T.S.S.A. are held on the first Thursday of each month except in July and August. Each meeting begins with dinner and is followed with a presentation by the sponsor of the month. These interesting presentations provide information about products that the sponsors indorse.
